There are three kinds of relief art work. There is high which is when you add a lot of material onto the base of the art work. Also there is low relief which is where you add a little of the material you are using to the base of your project. And lastly there is sunken relief which is what I chose to do on this piece. Sunken relief is where you cut material out of your base and don't add any material onto it. I used clay as my medium in this project. I thought that I could make more out of clay then with a book or any other medium. I finished up this piece with a blue and yellow glaze. I am most proud of this piece in the fact that the large mouth bass actually looks like a large mouth bass and can be seen as one. If I would change anything I would have liked to work more on it and added more colors of glazes to it.

Land art is when you use resources that you can find around you and make a art work. You can also make a art piece into the land or environment.
I chose to do the leaf crown piece because it was fun and I thought that it would look cool.
Next time, if I had to change something I would try to put on more leaves to make it stiffer.

This article on the newly found Van Gogh piece has a very interesting story. It was being stored in a attic because it was though to be worthless and a fake Van Gogh piece a long time ago. Van Gogh wrote about one of his pieces in a journal that was thought to be his piece "The Rocks" but it didn't describe "The Rocks" very accurately. When this new piece was found it was noticed that the writing in the journal is a perfect description of the new piece. The piece was rejected that it was Van Goghs artwork twice and the most recent one of those was just in 1991. The Rocks is a painting with more rocks than filled with vegetation like the newly discovered  piece is. The new painting looks a lot like a environment that dinosaurs would live in. It is heavily dense in vegetation and plants while "the rocks" looks like it is in the mountains and has huge boulders  with tall dead grass growing between them. It also has one tall tree in the center of the piece that looks like some kind of fruit tree.

A pinch pot is when you take clay, and use your thumbs and mold it into a bowl shape you can slip and score two of them together to make a hollow clay ball.
